Upcoming: Song of Mary Art Challenge
We invite any and all to create something inspired by the Magnificat, or Song of Mary (Luke 1:46-55). You can use any medium you want (if it involves performance or music, the length would be 10-15 minutes).
Beginning Sunday, October 1, we will send weekly emails sharing artistic inspiration and guiding in lectio with Mary’s heart response a few lines at a time. Then, on November 5 there will be a gathering at the Monastery after Mass for people to share their works and celebrate the spark! If you can’t make it to the Monastery, you may wish to engage in this project with a group in your community. This is a free program
Afterwards, we will invite all the artworks that can be hung on the wall to be a part of the 2018 art show that will be installed in the main hallway at Advent.
