St. Gertrude’s L.I.V.E. ~ Kids Camp

St. Gertrude’s L.I.V.E. > Nature Art Camp for Kids

Nature Art Camp for Kids ~ Project October

This camp introduces elementary school students to a variety of nature-based activities, expanding their understanding in the relationship between art and nature in the height of autumn. In this month-long camp, they will be surprised with a new craft every week, introducing them to projects that work with plants, seeds and a galore of other materials — all while developing their appreciation for God’s creation.

How it works: Each week, a package will be sent to the kids, with instructions, materials, and mini assignments. Along with the package, an accompanying video will be released the same week, guiding the kids through the project. At the end of the three weeks, the students then have an optional Zoom “Show and Tell” creating a space for them to share their work, ask questions, and connect with other students! Kits will be sent at the beginning of each week of October (1st, 8th, 15th and a Zoom session on the 24th).

Camp fee: $40, maximum 20 participants
