St. Gertrude’s L.I.V.E. > Lenten Bible Study
Lenten Bible Study
10-11 a.m. Pacific Time, Tuesdays, February 16 through March 23rd, via Zoom, with Sister Meg Sass
Lent, from the first hint of spring to the early spring flowers, is the time to look seriously at our lives and how we reflect God’s goodness to our world. Join us in a six-week bible study for input, reflection, and sharing on the Gospel of Mark, concentrating on the Lenten Sunday Gospels. Bring your Bible and an openness to God’s Word.
This bible study is offered for a free will offering. Maximum 20 participants.
From 2006 until 2014, Sister Meg Sass served at the Boise diocesan center as Regional Coordinator for Parish Life and Faith Formation, working with the northern part of the state from Riggins to Canada. Before that she served as assistant prioress and was the head of Parish Social Ministry for the Diocese of Spokane. She now lives at the Monastery where she serves on the Spirituality Ministry Team as a spiritual director and retreat leader.
