The suggested donation is the minimal amount needed to help us meet expenses. Those blessed with more may wish to contribute more and those who have less may give less.

Arrive between 1:30 - 5:00 pm.
Supper is served at 5:30 pm.
The first session begins at 7:00 pm.
The final session will conclude before 11:30 am.
Depart at 1:00 pm after midday dinner.

The Gift of Nature

With Sr. Carlotta Fontes, OSB

June 26 - 29, 2025

The vast expanse of the Monastery grounds and hills offer an opportunity to savor the beauty of God’s creation and to learn about the many plants that can be used for medicinal purposes.  You will have an opportunity to wander around the grounds and up the hill in order to discover and then identify these plants which are used in making herbal salves, teas and much more.

Come prepared to enjoy an outdoor excursion.  You will need appropriate shoes, outdoor clothing, water bottle and a walking stick (if needed).

Sr. Carlotta Fontes, OSB
Sister Carlotta was born in Taunton, Massachusetts. Her father was in the Air Force and the family lived in several places including Japan. They moved to Boise, Idaho, in 1974 upon his retirement. As an adult, Sister Carlotta worked in a manufacturing company. Then, in 2000, she went to Europe, inspired by the apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
