Supper is served at 5:30 pm.
The first session begins at 7:00 pm.
The final session will conclude before 11:30 am.
Depart at 1:00 pm after midday dinner.

Exploring Nature’s Gifts

With Sr. Carlotta Fontes, OSB

June 29 - July 2, 2023

Discover what ancient herbal wisdom has to show us today. Learn how to identify and harvest herbs in order to make herbal teas, salve, and more. The retreat activities will take participants onto the Monastery of St. Gertrude hillside for a hands-on experience.

Come ready to hike, dig, and get dirty!

Sr. Carlotta Fontes, OSB
Sister Carlotta was born in Taunton, Massachusetts. Her father was in the Air Force and the family lived in several places including Japan. They moved to Boise, Idaho, in 1974 upon his retirement. As an adult, Sister Carlotta worked in a manufacturing company. Then, in 2000, she went to Europe, inspired by the apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
