Season of Creation Journey

We invite you to experience a special Season of Creation journey with us –  September 1 to October 4 – through twice-weekly pauses to listen, discern, and step gently on this sacred earth.

The series will focus on our shared path of stewardship and sustainability as Benedictines rooted in the Gospel. Each of the 10 emails will include Scripture, contemporary reflections from Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’, prompts for personal reflection and contemplation, and simple daily practices honoring the spirit of this season.

As Pope Francis reminds us in Laudato Si’, “The entire material universe speaks of God’s love, his boundless affection for us. Soil, water, mountains: everything is, as it were, a caress of God.”

May these reflections remind us of the ultimate Benedictine task: to listen with the ear of our heart to the voice of God.
